 First Christian Church is a friendly congregation aiming to spread theWord of God in the Michiana community. Every Sunday, at 10:30, we celebrate the Lord's Supper with a service blending traditional and contemporary forms of worship.

We have a professionally staffed nursery for infants through age 2.
We are also the host for Luvability Ministries, an outreach for the handicapped, meeting on the first Saturday of each month at 6:30 pm.
First Christian Church is recognized by the National Organization on Disability as an Accessible Congregation, and have committed ourselves to include people with disabilities as full and active participants. In this congregation, people with disabilities are valued as individuals, having been created in the image of God.
Our Mission
First Christian Church, South Bend, Indiana, is a faith community whose purpose is to proclaim God's love in Christ, to nurture spiritual growth, and to respond through acts of love in obedience to God. We recognize the unique need of individuals and accept diversity as a source of strength. A person touched by the ministry of First Christian Church is acted upon by God's spirit through worship, study and fellowship, and is challenged to become an instrument of forgiveness, reconciliation, acceptance and service.
